There are basically two types of Web pages:
On a static Web page, the content displayed in a browser window is the same for every visitor to that page. The page content essentially remains the same until a Web designer physically changes the content and uploads the new page to the Web server. The page content may display in a different manner for different Web visitors, depending upon the type of browser program used (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.), the user's font settings, the size of the user's computer monitor, and the screen resolution setting for the user's monitor display.
On a dynamic Web page, the content displayed in a browser window may be different for every visitor, and may even be different for the same visitor during different visits to that same page. The content for the page is assembled on the fly, according to what type of information has been requested. This means that the page content does not actually exist until the page is requested by a Web visitor. At that time the Web server gathers the appropriate page content from a database or other information source; then formats the content into a standard HTML Web page that is served to the user's browser.
On a dynamic Web page the user may be able to interact with a document by clicking available links or selecting specific page content from a dropdown menu. This allows the Web page to communicate with the Web server using a programming language that passes different parameters (variables) to the data source. For example, a user might wish to request information about products in a specific category such as "books" or "videos."
Examples are shown below for both static and dynamic Web sites developed by Web Transformations.
Cindy
Northey Promotional Sales is an agent for Phoenix Promotional
Products, an advertising specialty firm that sells products branded
with their clients' business and personal logos.
They needed a basic Web site that could include professional quality images of the Griz Gear and Montana State University Bobcat logos that could be emblazoned upon shirts, jackets, hats, and dozens of other promotional products. They had previously used a free Web page development template that was available through their Web hosting provider. However, when images were uploaded to the Web server, a significant amount of image quality was sacrificed.

The Web page template available from their hosting server was also causing browser display problems, as shown in the image below. The page was attempting to run some type of script or ActiveX control that could have been a security risk for the Web visitor. The owner had no way of knowing what type of action was being performed by this script, nor were they able to remove or disable the script functionality. These types of browser warning messages are sure to deter some Web page visitors.

Another problem with the original Web page template was the fact that some browsers inexplicably pushed the page content down so far that it looked like the Cindy Northey Promotional Sales banner was the only thing on the page. The rest of the page content was not visible unless the user made the effort to scroll down the page looking for additional information (see image below):

Since the owner was happy with the existing color scheme and the general "look and feel" of this site, we redesigned the page layout to look very similar to the original site, with the following improvements:

Artistic Metals Forge is a business that specializes in the creation of metal
art and ornamental ironwork designed for architectural settings. They create
hand crafted gates, railings, fireplace gates, and other types of ornamental
objects with forged, fabricated, and welded metals.
The main purpose of this Web site is to present examples of previous work for potential clients, who can then relay to the master fabricator the types of designs they prefer. It also allows the owners to demonstrate the unique ways they have incorporated metalwork into a variety of architectural settings.
Web site visitors would need to see two different views of these photos:
This site could have been developed as a series of static Web pages. In the case of the railings category alone, this would have meant creating at least one master page with all snapshot railing images, plus one detail page for each large railing photo—82 additional static pages. By using a database to store information about the photos, and using PHP programming to create the Web pages, we were able to generate the same result by creating only two dynamic pages: one master page and one detail page. Each dynamic page serves appropriate information obtained from the database, as follows:

We can produce many types of video and audio products in the form of DVDs, audio CDs, video files in various formats, and audio files such as MP3s. We can also convert your older VHS analog tapes into digital format and create DVDs with full menu systems and title slides.
One example of a full-fledged video production by Web Transformations is the 2007 Health Habits NGA Bodybuilding & Figure Fitness Competition DVD. We filmed the video footage for this event, which was held at the University of Montana Theatre in Missoula on September 15, 2007. We also edited the raw video footage using FinalCut Pro, created audio and sound track accompaniments, and developed title and transition slides. The final product was distributed on DVD with a full menu system.
We are currently producing a video documentary about square dancing and choreographed ballroom dancing in Western Montana.
We have quality sound recording and computer equipment for creating specialty audio products such as "voiceovers" and sound tracks for videos. For example, we created a short voiceover recording and combined it with a short sound track to create the audio accompaniment for use in a client's bodybuilding routine. [Audio preview]

We can create animations with text or graphic objects that simulate movement. In the example shown below, we isolated the blue ball and the letters of the logo to simulate the action of a ball moving into the letters and scattering them off the page. We can also add audio and video clips to create a full-featured movie production using Flash.
We can create slideshows from your favorite photos. The example on the left shows MTV movie stars sampling a product called WickedLix Fruit Shooterz™. Photos are cross-faded from one photo into the next for a transition effect, and background music adds a feeling of excitement and atmosphere. Buttons areincluded to mute the sound and stop or replay the Flash video.
An additional example of a product slideshow is shown on the home page for Artistic Metals Forge at http://www.artisticmetalsforge.net/.
Flash marketing productions can be as simple or elaborate as you choose to make them. Shown on the right is a book trailer that was produced to help market a book in the same manner as a movie trailer.
Using the Flash program we can create many interesting animations that would engage a learning audience by allowing them to interact with an object. Try clicking the Eyes, Mouth, and Hair buttons in the animated movie below to see what happens:

Perhaps your family or organization is planning a reunion or special event, or you just want to preserve your precious heirloom photos on a CD or DVD. Some examples are shown on page http://www.webtransformations.com/demos/#slideshows.
Another option to consider is the use of an animated GIF. This would be appropriate for a single image that only needs to perform a limited action—such as rotating in a clockwise direction (e.g., see the color wheel shown on our graphics page).
